We’re serious about God and crazy about people.

Meridian Christian Church is a place where you can come as you are and discover a God who meets you right where you are. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you have a place here. We’re serious about God and crazy about people. That means we want you to know that you matter to God, you matter to us, and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.

  • The Bible is the final authority for all we believe. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)

  • We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons (the Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-14)

    We believe God is the Creator of everything. (Genesis 1:1)

    We believe Jesus is exactly who the Bible says He is…  “God with us”. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died to bring us back into a right relationship with God, rose from the dead, is now in heaven preparing an eternal home for those who follow Him, and will one day return. (Luke 1:1-4)

  • We believe we have all chosen to walk away from God and will justly die. (Romans 3:23; 6:23)

    We believe salvation is by the grace of God, not something we can earn on our own effort. It is found only in Jesus. (Romans 6:23; John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8, 9)

    We believe the biblical response to God’s grace shown through Jesus is to turn from our sinful lives, declare Jesus as Lord, be immersed in His Name, and continue to grow in our relationship and knowledge of Him by loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. (Acts 2:38, 39)

    We believe those who have responded appropriately to God’s grace have His Spirit living in them, directing and guiding them, and serving as a “deposit” for heaven yet to come. (Acts 2:38; 2 Corinthians 5:4, 5)

    We believe life doesn’t stop here. There will be a judgment of every person with those who have decided to live with and for Jesus inheriting eternal life and those who have decided to live without Jesus facing eternal separation from God. (Revelation 20:11-13)

    We believe all who have accepted Jesus as Lord are joined together in His family, the Church. (Romans 12:4, 5)

Our mission is simple: LEAD people to Christ, LIFT them toward spiritual maturity, and LAUNCH them to do the same.

We want Meridian Christian Church to be a place where you feel at home, find genuine community, and grow in your relationship with God. We are a community of people who are continually seeking God, growing in faith, and learning what it means to follow Jesus. Our hope is that you will discover God’s purpose for your life and be equipped to make a meaningful difference in your relationships, your community, and the world around you.

COME AS YOU ARE

You don’t have to dress a certain way, fit a certain age group, or have it all figured out to belong here. You don’t have to pretend to have it all together. Meridian Christian Church is a place where God meets people where they are, and we believe there is room for everyone.

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. We’re not formal, not fake, just family.

BUT DON’T STAY THAT WAY.

Following Jesus is a journey, and we believe God is always calling us to take the next step.

Church isn’t meant to be something we simply watch from the sidelines. We encourage you to get connected, build relationships, serve others, and grow deeper in your faith. Every step toward God matters. Small steps of faith, taken consistently, can lead to a life transformed by Christ.

At Meridian Christian Church, we’re always looking for the next step God is calling us to take.

Far too often in our culture church is simply thought of as something you attend.  But this was never what God intended. His Church is about community. It’s about His family. It’s about spending time together and living life together. When we reduce His family to a service we miss many of the blessings God intends for our lives.

  • At Meridian Christian Church, we set Sundays aside, as the Church has historically done, as a day for Jesus’ family to gather, worship, build relationships, and be equipped to live the life Jesus calls us to. We believe Sunday is about more than simply attending a service. It is about gathering together to BE the Church.

    Our time of worship includes music, a message, an opportunity to give, and a time to share in the Lord’s Supper (Communion).

  • Being the Church is about more than attending a service. We grow stronger when we spend time together, build real friendships, share life, and encourage one another beyond Sunday morning. Through groups, meals, activities, and everyday relationships, we create opportunities to know others and be known.

  • To BE the Church we need to deepen our knowledge of the Bible and learn to live it out. Through classes, seminars, retreats, discussion groups, and other opportunities, we grow in our understanding of God’s Word and become better prepared to make wise decisions, face everyday challenges, and follow Jesus faithfully in every area of life together.
